Our Period Paint Collection

Conservatories are frequently painted in colours ranging from soft and subtle hues including natural tones and off-whites, to stronger colours for a more dramatic effect.

To help clients decide what colour to paint their conservatory, orangery or rooflight, and also to make sure our buildings leave the factory with a paint that will perform well over the years and in all weather conditions, we have produced a range of colours in a high performance semi-gloss conservatory paint.

Our Period Paint Collection has been designed with the conservatory in mind and is available in forty two beautiful colours which all have a depth and charm to harmonize with other elements within your room. The colour range consists of subtle whites and creams through to more earthy and natural browns, greys and greens.

With the colours also being available in a high performance matt Emulsion. The paint is versatile enough to be used throughout your home.

Decorating Your Conservatory

Once you have finally painted your conservatory on site, you can really begin to enjoy your new room. Blinds can be installed, furniture positioned and your room heated.

Each Vale conservatory or orangery will receive a primer/undercoat and a minimum of two coats of satin finish paint prior to leaving our workshops. We have a beautiful Period Paint Collection available in 42 colours that have been particularly chosen for use on a conservatory. Door thresholds are stained in Walnut.

Following installation all internal and external timber surfaces will require a final preparation in conjunction with the application of a top coat paint finish. We supply the paint for this final application but due to the fact that our conservatories are being installed throughout all times of the year and are often part of a larger project, this work is generally carried out by your local decorator.

We do however offer a full decorating service which many of our customers like to take up and have dedicated painters who are used to working all around the country.

Our Interiors Department

Vale have been helping our clients to finish and furnish their conservatories since 1995 when we had only terracotta and marble floors to offer, a few pieces of furniture and a very small samples room. How things have changed! The Interiors Department has grown at a rapid rate over the past few years and is now a buzzing department with a wealth of knowledge that can help with the most challenging of design ideas and proving itself to be an invaluable part of the company.

Interiors by Vale is a unique part of Vale Garden Houses as it offers full Interior Design Package to our conservatory clients. We offer advice from simply choosing the right colour for your Garden Room to providing furniture layouts ensuring that you make the best use of space however you plan on using your new conservatory or orangery. As we operate close to our pre-installation bays where conservatories are being built, we are fortunate to be in a position to offer our clients the added experience of visualising their space. We have five large showrooms brimming with gorgeous items and three show models also furnished. We keep abreast of the ever changing styles making the showrooms a joy to visit time and again.

We send a questionnaire out at the end of each and every project as we believe that feedback is very important in assessing and improving our performance and service. All feedback is regularly communicated to individual staff and the company.

Your conservatory comes with advice on how to look after your new room, our guarantee and an after sales service that delivers a prompt response should you need to call on us. Records are kept of all aspects of your project should we need to refer to them. Records are kept indefinitely of most glass measurements so replacement units can be supplied without undue delay in the event of a breakage.
